FAQs
1. What type of batteries do the batons use?
The Batutanglaw uses a rechargeable Lithium 18650 with one year limited warranty. You can use your typical Android mini USB charger to charge the Batutanglaw and the Solar Sinagtala.
The Kapitan, Kagawad, Jaguar ,and Tanod models use AA batteries.
2. Is there warranty on the batons?
Yes. 1-year warranty on the LED bulb and battery on the Batutanglaw and Sinagtala. Any failure on the manufacturing within the year, we will replace the unit with no questions asked.
3. Can you use the batons to hit hard surfaces, such as brick walls and concrete blocks?
Although our batons were tested hitting brick walls, hollow blocks, and getting run over by trucks, they are still designed to hit soft targets and not kill them (more for self-defense and security purposes). Anything that you hit on something harder will likely to destroy it.
4. How many lumens?
The Batutanglaw and the Sinagtala both emit 300 REAL lumens, meaning, they are bright enough for the zoom light to reach up to 100 meters or more, and at the same time have the area light beam out for the surroundings. The light is powerful enough for outdoor use. There are other products that claim over 1000 to 2000 lumens, but they are not REAL lumens. Also, the light emitted by our flashlights are magnified with lens and reflector backing for extra power magnification.
